Volleyball Game Preview: Kootenai Warriors vs. Clark Fork Wampus Cats

Kootenai is 0-10 against Clark Fork since October of 2018 but things could change on Saturday. The Warriors will head out to face off against the Wampus Cats at 2:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Kootenai came up short against Lakeside on Thursday, falling 3-0.

While Kootenai ultimately came up short, they really made Lakeside work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 26-24, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Clark Fork came up short against Coeur du Christ Academy on Monday and fell 3-1.

While Coeur du Christ Academy got the win, Clark Fork sure made them earn it: two sets took extra rallies. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 29-27, 21-25, 28-26.

Clark Fork now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Kootenai, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Kootenai might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Clark Fork in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
