Basketball Recap: Morse Starts off Right with Win over El Cajon Valley + How To Watch

Morse took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They breezed past the El Cajon Valley Braves to the tune of 64-33. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Morse got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Eldren Vergara out in front who posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerrell Wells-Shorts, who had nine points and eight rebounds.

El Cajon Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morse will challenge Grossmont at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for El Cajon Valley, they will host Castle Park at 7:00 p.m. on the 28th.
