Softball Preview: Caldwell County Tigers vs. Graves County Eagles        
        
		
            
 The Caldwell County Tigers will be playing at home against the Graves County Eagles at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Caldwell County is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
 On Tuesday, Caldwell County came up short against Trigg County  and fell  9-4.
  alexis wood put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  tossed seven innings while giving up  three earned  (and five unearned) runs off   nine  hits. Wood was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Brylee Butts was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  adley lewis, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-5.
 Meanwhile, Graves County put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season  on Tuesday. They never let Mayfield onto the board and left with  a   10-0  victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Graves County.
 Graves County also got a great performance from  Anna Rogers as she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits over five innings pitched.
 At the plate,  Brooklyn Cole was a standout: she scored two  runs while going 1-for-2.  Bailey Wimsatt was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-3.
 Caldwell County's loss dropped their record down to 11-11-1. As for Graves County, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.
