Softball Recap: Downey Takes a Loss

Downey managed to slip by Warren the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Vikings lost 9-3 to the Bears on Tuesday. The Vikings just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Delilah Navarro made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Downey's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Warren, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-11.

While Downey had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
