Volleyball Recap: Linville Hill Starts Season with Win at Home

Linville Hill took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. Everything went their way against Coventry Christian as the Linville Hill Warriors made off with a 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Linville Hill was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-8, 25-10.

Among those leading the charge was Jackson Zook, who had seven digs and four aces.

Zook wasn't the only good server: Linville Hill was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Linville Hill will take on Schuylkill Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Coventry Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on New Covenant Christian at 6:00 p.m. on April 7th.
