It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact East Fairmont can now relate to. They took a 57-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grafton Bearcats on Tuesday. The Bees' loss signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

East Fairmont lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kasey Rogers, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kinley Opas, who earned seven points and five boards.

Grafton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kenna Keener, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Keener is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Hadley Horne, who went 6-for-11 en route to 14 points and eight boards.

East Fairmont's defeat dropped their record down to 20-5. As for Grafton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-1.

East Fairmont does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grafton, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-55 loss against Nitro on the 14th.
