The Grove School had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Norton Science & Language Academy Rockets on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Ravens sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row dating back to last season.
The Grove School was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 25-20.
Despite the defeat, Norton Science & Language Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Juan Meza had three digs and three aces.
