Softball Recap: Morse Comes Up Short

Morse was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 21-11 to the Mt. Ararat Eagles. Even if the Shipbuilders couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Morse's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Mt. Ararat, their victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-7.

Coming up, Morse will take on Gardiner at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mt. Ararat, they will face off against Yarmouth at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
