Soccer Game Preview: Panorama vs. Kennedy

Panorama and Kennedy are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but likely not for long. The Panorama Pythons will challenge the Kennedy Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Panorama has now lost 11 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 11.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Panorama's offense. They lost 4-0 to San Fernando on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Pythons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1009th, while the Tigers are ranked 367th).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Kennedy challenged San Fernando on Friday. Kennedy came up short against San Fernando, falling 3-0. Jefferson Alvarado was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-2. As for Panorama, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15-1.

Everything went Panorama's way against Kennedy in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as Panorama made off with a 4-1 victory. Will Panorama repeat their success, or does Kennedy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
