Baseball Recap: Mountain View Mountain Lions vs. Northridge Grizzlies
While Mountain View's victory against Northridge wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mountain Lions had just enough and edged out the Grizzlies 7-6. The Mountain Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Grizzlies on Wednesday, too.
Sam Holt made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
