Calera has gone a perfect 10-0 against Montevallo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Calera Eagles will face off against the Montevallo Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Calera's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Chilton County as Calera made off with a 10-0 win. That looming 10-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Eagles yet this season.

Meanwhile, Montevallo had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Rams.

Montevallo pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matches. As for Calera, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-1 record this season.

Everything went Calera's way against Montevallo in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Calera made off with a 4-0 victory.
