Football Recap: Reedley Pirates vs. Kerman Lions
If Reedley was riding high fresh off their 43-8 takedown of Hanford West last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pirates were beaten by the Kerman Lions 49-14 on Friday. The Pirates were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-7.
Reedley's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Will Bacon, who rushed for 67 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries, and Kyle Bacon, who picked up 107 receiving yards and one score. Kyle also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing one fumble and making six total tackles.
Adrian Torres had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 278 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushing for 42 yards and one touchdown for Kerman. Jorge Antunez was another key player, rushing for 60 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries.
