Marshall Christian Academy scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Christian Heritage Sentinels by a score of 54-51. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Guardians have suffered since December 7, 2023.

With the defeat, Marshall Christian Academy broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-5. As for Christian Heritage, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games, which provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marshall Christian Academy will face off against East Texas Homeschool Sports at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. As for Christian Heritage, they will venture away from home to take on St. Mary's at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
