Basketball Recap: Dexter Takes a Loss

After flying high against Saline last Monday, Dexter came back down to earth. The Dexter Dreadnaughts were beaten by the Huron River Rats 72-38 on Wednesday. The Dreadnaughts haven't had much luck with the River Rats recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Dexter's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Huron, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 18-4.

Dexter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Huron, they will challenge Skyline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Huron knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Skyline likes a good challenge.
