Softball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends Saline's Winning Streak

After flying high against Ringgold last Friday, Saline came back down to earth. The Saline Bobcats fell 8-5 to the Dodson Panthers on Tuesday. The game marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Saline moved to 4-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Dodson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Saline beat Dodson by a score of 14-4 later that day.
