Softball Game Preview: Ferndale Yellow Jackets vs. Shade Panthers

Ferndale hasn't had much luck against Shade recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Yellow Jackets will look to defend their home field against the Panthers at 4:15 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Ferndale came up short against Blacklick Valley on Thursday, falling 18-6.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 14 runs the game before, Shade was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They lost 12-2 to Meyersdale. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Red Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Shade saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tori Bowers, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Ferndale's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Shade, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
