Sierra Foothill recap Sept. 26, 2012
Logan Webb and Hank Humphers provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Inderkum. The connection went for 68 yards, the longest such play in Sierra Foothill this season.
Webb put up the best numbers through the air as Rocklin topped the Tigers. He finished with 11 completions for 268 yards and four touchdowns. Webb's favorite target this week was Cory Burmester, who caught five passes for 127 yards.
Ian Davis was the best wideout in the league this week as Nevada Union lost to Elk Grove. Davis tallied 11 receptions for 153 yards. Austin Marks helped Nevada Union's passing attack out by catching four balls for 67 yards.
DYLAN KAINRATH was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 36 carries, he ran for 161 yards as Del Oro lost to the Thundering Herd. Teammate TYLER WHARTON added to the ground attack by rushing for 50 yards.
Thanks to the talents of Stephen Nogosek and Mitchell Layton Woodcreek has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Nogosek leads the league in passing with 1050 yards, while Layton has rushed for 494 yards this season. Nevada Union's Davis leads the league in receiving yards with 542 on 33 catches.
The Thunder led Sierra Foothill in scoring this week after putting up 31 points on Inderkum. Webb in the win.
