Basketball Recap: Carrboro Takes a Loss

Carrboro suffered their biggest loss since December 13, 2024 on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a 63-36 loss at the hands of the Panther Creek Catamounts. The Jaguars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-16.

Despite the loss, Carrboro still got an impressive performance from Allison Weiner, who posted 13 points. Kiley Ferrer was another key player, putting up seven points.

Sasha Boddie was the offensive standout of the contest as she put up nine points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Wynne Kinahan, who earned nine points.

Carrboro's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Panther Creek, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Carrboro has already played their next game, a 39-30 win against East Chapel Hill on the 21st. As for Panther Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 54-53 loss against Knightdale on the 21st.
