Volleyball Recap: Donovan's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Kankakee Trinity Academy came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Donovan, but Lily Anderson wouldn't allow it. The Wildcats came out on top against Kankakee Trinity Academy by a score of 2-0 on Friday thanks in part to Anderson, who had four digs, four aces, and one block. She has been hot, having also posted 12 or more assists the last five times she's played.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Donovan was: they took both sets by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-11.

Donovan has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Kankakee Trinity Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Donovan will host Grant Park at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kankakee Trinity Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Illinois Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on September 12.
