Voyager Academy put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Durham Academy Cavaliers. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by eight runs or more this season.

Cameron Copley made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in ten consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February.

In other pitching news, Carrick Ryan looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Aidan Daly, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Voyager Academy lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Voyager Academy's record is now 13-0. As for Durham Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10.

Looking ahead, Voyager Academy will be playing at home against Reidsville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Durham Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Raleigh HomeSchool at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cavaliers are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
