Basketball Recap: Rappahannock County Comes Up Short

After flying high against William Campbell last Monday, Rappahannock County came back down to earth. Rappahannock County fell just short of the Page County Panthers by a score of 49-46 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for Rappahannock County in their matchups with Page County: they've now lost three in a row.

Rappahannock County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Page County, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rappahannock County will venture away from home to face off against Clarke County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Clarke County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Page County, they will square off against Strasburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Strasburg will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Page County surely won't give up without a fight.
