Classical Academy comes up short despite Joseph Lanzone's strong performance

Recap: Classical Academy Caimans vs. Guajome Park Academy Frogs
After flying high against the Escondido Adventist Academy Hawks last Tuesday, the Classical Academy Caimans came back down to earth. Classical Academy lost to Guajome Park Academy at home by a decisive 63-47 margin on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Classical Academy of the 52-43 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
Despite the loss, Classical Academy still got an impressive performance from Joseph Lanzone, who scored 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lanzone has scored all season. Issac Davis was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-21. As for Guajome Park Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-16 record this season.
Classical Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Guajome Park Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
