Baseball Recap: Azle Takes a Loss

Azle fell victim to Granbury and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 12-0 to the Pirates. It was the first time this season that the Hornets let down their fans at home.

This is the second loss in a row for Azle and nudges their season record down to 12-9. As for Granbury, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-5.

Looking ahead, Azle will square off against Richland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Granbury, they will take on Brewer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Pirates 2.5, the Bears 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
