Softball Recap: Port Chester Gets the Win

Port Chester's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the Lincoln Lancers. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Port Chester let Charlotte Burke and Melina Morban run wild. Burke went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI, while Morban went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave Morban a new career-high. Arianna Orellana was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

Port Chester's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

They will have a chance to go back-to-back against Lincoln: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
