Basketball Recap: De Soto Comes Up Short

De Soto and Piper squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but De Soto had to settle for second. They fell to the Piper Pirates 49-44. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

De Soto's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Piper, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

As of now, neither De Soto nor Piper have any future games scheduled.
