Volleyball Recap: Mason Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Mason had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Lebanon Warriors 3-0 on Wednesday. The victory was nothing new for the Comets as they're now sitting on four straight.

One reason for the win was Mason's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-15, 25-13.

Mason pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Lebanon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.

Mason will square off against Elder at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Comets surely won't give up without a fight. Lebanon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
