Volleyball Game Preview: Milpitas Trojans vs. Menlo-Atherton Bears

The Milpitas Trojans will take on the Menlo-Atherton Bears at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Milpitas is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Milpitas is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Sequoia.

Milpitas had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-18, 25-15, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Menlo-Atherton made easy work of Los Gatos on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

While Menlo-Atherton might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Los Gatos scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 27-25, 25-23.

Menlo-Atherton's victory bumped their record up to 24-9. As for Milpitas, their win bumped their record up to 21-9.
