Benton extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 19-2 in the process. They blew past the Sylvan Hills Bears 9-3. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 14 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

As for Sylvan Hills, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-7 record this season. As for they, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-7.

For Sylvan Hills' part, Zamari Ball - 2026 spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered nine runs (all of which were unearned) on six hits. Ball - 2026 has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Sylvan Hills saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abbie Mayden - 2026, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Looking ahead, Benton will be playing at home against Bentonville at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sylvan Hills, they will take on Conway at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
