Notre Dame Academy won the last time they faced Green Bay Southwest and things went their way  on Saturday too. The Tritons walked away with  a   6-3  victory over the Fighting Trojans. Winning may never get old, but the Tritons sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
 Adam Guyette made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. He has been consistent  recently: he hasn't  given up  a single  earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in March of 2024.
 In other pitching news,  Ty Bumgardner looked comfortable as he  struck out 11 batters over  four innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits. Those  11  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high.
 Back at the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Drew Siudzinski, who  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and one  double. That  double marked the first that  he  hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jack Frelich, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Notre Dame Academy was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .393. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .350 or higher in three consecutive  contests.
Notre Dame Academy's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 4-1. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Green Bay Southwest,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 3-3.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Notre Dame Academy beat the Fighting Trojans by a score of  10-1 later that day.
