Macomb is 8-2 against Canton since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Macomb Bombers will head out to challenge the Canton Little Giants at 12:00 p.m. Macomb is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.

Last Tuesday, Macomb strolled past Illinois Valley Central with points to spare, taking the game 50-34. Given the Bombers' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 177th, while the Grey Ghosts are ranked 412th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Canton was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 38-32 to Washington.

Macomb's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points over those games. As for Canton, their loss dropped their record down to 11-16.

Macomb strolled past Canton in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 46-32. Will Macomb repeat their success, or does Canton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
