After flying high against Kaufer on Tuesday, Incarnate Word Academy came back down to earth. The Angels fell just short of the St. Augustine Knights by a score of 56-53 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Angels in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost seven in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Incarnate Word Academy lost, don't look at Talon Chanyaman. Despite the final result, he shot 53% from the field on his way to 22 points and five rebounds. The matchup was Chanyaman's third in a row with at least 16 points. Matthew Nicholson was another key player, putting up seven points and seven boards.

Incarnate Word Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for St. Augustine, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
