Windermere Prep lost to Cornerstone Charter Academy on Monday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Lakers skirted past the Ducks 4-3.

Windermere Prep's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was William Francis, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Windermere Prep was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cornerstone Charter Academy only posted a batting average of .172.

Windermere Prep's record now sits at 5-3. As for Cornerstone Charter Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windermere Prep will square off against East Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cornerstone Charter Academy, they will challenge Lake Highland Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Ducks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Highlanders have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season.
