Volleyball Recap: Back of the Yards College Prep Takes a Loss

The Back of the Yards College Prep Bobcats came up short against the Hubbard Greyhounds on Tuesday and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-11.

Allison Granat paced Back of the Yards College Prep's offense, picking up four kills. Granat got some help from Paola Diaz and her eight assists. Granat was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Hubbard had a senior duo take command as Debora Lopez had ten assists and six aces and Madeline Morales had 15 digs. Morales is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Back of the Yards College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Hubbard, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Back of the Yards College Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Kennedy on the 2nd. As for Hubbard, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Juarez on the 2nd.
