            The Villa Park Spartans will venture away from home to  square off against the Ocean View Seahawks  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Villa Park will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Villa Park is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another  one of California's top teams: Bishop Amat, who was ranked 18th  at the time (Villa Park was ranked 24th). The Spartans came out on top against the Lancers by a score of  6-3  on Thursday. Six seems to be a good number for the Spartans as the  team scooped up a  win with the same number of  runs in their previous game.
 Jake Nobles led a balanced Spartans bullpen and   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Nobles has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  a single  earned run in seven consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Aidan Young was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run and two  RBI.  Gunner Santillo was another key player,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs and one  RBI.

 Villa Park's victory was  their eighth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 18-5. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Ocean View, their record now sits at 11-13.
