Volleyball Recap: Wildwood Comes Up Short

Wildwood managed to slip by Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wolves lost 3-0 to the Seawolves on Tuesday. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Seawolves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

While Wildwood was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-10, 25-22.

Wildwood now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Wildwood and Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Wolves will challenge rival Geffen Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica is set to face off against their familiar foe Holy Martyrs Armenian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
