Soccer Game Preview: Seneca vs. Blue Ridge

The Seneca Bobcats will head out on the road to square off against the Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Seneca challenged Daniel on Tuesday. The Bobcats fell 3-1 to the Lions. That's two games in a row now that Seneca have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Blue Ridge was not the first on the board last Monday, but they got there more often. They had just enough and edged out Carolina Academy 2-1.

Blue Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Seneca, they now have a losing record of 6-7-1.

Everything went Seneca's way against Blue Ridge in their previous meeting back in March, as Seneca made off with a 6-2 win. In that matchup, the Bobcats amassed a halftime lead of 5-1, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
