Soccer Game Preview: Somerset vs. Uvalde

The Somerset Bulldogs will venture away from home to square off against the Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Somerset and Floresville finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Uvalde). Their defense stepped up to hand Poteet a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday. Diego Granados was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Somerset's draw makes their record 2-11-2 this season. As for Uvalde, their win bumped their record up to 5-8-1.
