Basketball Recap: Fort Elliott Gets the Win

The third road contest was the charm for Fort Elliott, as they earned their first road win of the season. They came out on top against the Silverton Owls by a score of 57-50 on Friday. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 51-24 loss the last time these two teams met.

Fort Elliott picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 4-5. As for Silverton, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Elliott will venture away from home to challenge Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Silverton will take on Springlake-Earth in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
