Soccer Recap: DeKalb Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lakewood Park Christian on Thursday, DeKalb came back down to earth. The Barons lost 5-1 to the Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger Saints on Monday. The loss continues a trend for DeKalb in their meetings with Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger: they've now lost four in a row.

DeKalb's goal came courtesy of Christian Johnson, who's now up to two this season.

DeKalb now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Looking ahead, DeKalb will look to takes advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they takes on Lakeland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger, they will head out on the road to face off against Fort Wayne Canterbury at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
