Basketball Recap: Grandfield Comes Up Short

If Grandfield was riding high fresh off their 52-24 takedown of Ninnekah last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Grandfield Bearcats took a 47-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Elmore City-Pernell Badgers.

Grandfield now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Elmore City-Pernell, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Grandfield will be home for the holidays to greet Olustee/Eldorado at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elmore City-Pernell, they will head out to challenge Alex at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Alex's defense has only allowed 27.5 points per game this season, so Elmore City-Pernell's offense will have their work cut out for them.
