Baseball Recap: Texans Baseball Homeschool Comes Up Short

Texans Baseball Homeschool kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the West Houston HomeSchool Thunder by a score of 3-2. The Texans' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row dating back to last season.

Texans Baseball Homeschool saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mannix Segovia, who scored a run and stole one base while going 1-for-2.

The win got West Houston HomeSchool back to even at 1-1.

Texans Baseball Homeschool will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Brentwood Christian at 4:00 p.m. on February 14th. As for West Houston HomeSchool, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 16-4 victory against Aggieland HomeSchool on the 1st.
