Volleyball Game Preview: Gananda Central Blue Panthers vs. Lyons Lions

Gananda Central is 2-8 against Lyons since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Blue Panthers will head out to challenge the Lions at 6:15 p.m.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Gananda Central and Clyde-Savannah had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Blue Panthers lost 3-0 to the Golden Eagles on Friday.

Meanwhile, Lyons entered their tilt with Sodus on Friday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Spartans.

The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-16, 25-4.

Lyons' victory bumped their record up to 11-3-2. As for Gananda Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Gananda Central suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Lyons in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Blue Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
