The USC Trojans have a history of producing Heisman Trophy running backs, and Stephen Carr could be the next in the mix.

A standout at Summit (Fontana, Calif.), Carr earned Offensive Player of the Year honors from the San Bernardino Sun after rushing for 2,128 yards and 31 touchdowns. Carr led Summit to a 10-2 record in 2016 after leading the SkyHawks to a 12-1 record in 2015.

Carr is also effective catching passes out of the backfield, grabbing 20 passes for 491 yards and five touchdowns last year. He also returned punts for the Skyhawks, including one for a touchdown.
