Softball Recap: Cheboygan Sets Scoring Season-High Against Harbor Springs

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cheboygan). They blew past the Harbor Springs Rams 16-1 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chiefs.

Jenna Dodder was incredible, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in runs (two). Another player making a difference was Diem Schley, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Cheboygan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Cheboygan's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Harbor Springs, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Coming up, Cheboygan will take on Sault Area at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harbor Springs, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Johannesburg-Lewiston at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
