Volleyball Game Preview: Lanier Christian Academy Lightning vs. Genesis Academy Genesis

After both having extra time off, the Lanier Christian Academy Lightning and the Genesis Academy Genesis will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Lanier Christian Academy has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 6th.

Lanier Christian Academy lost 3-0 to St. John Bosco Academy on Thursday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-7, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Genesis Academy got the win against Killian Hill Christian on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Genesis.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Genesis Academy took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-13, 25-13.

Lanier Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Genesis Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.
