Soccer Recap: Cedar Ridge Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Cedar Ridge and Southern Wayne squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Cedar Ridge had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saints. While losing is never fun, Cedar Ridge can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 336th, while Southern Wayne are ranked 165th).

Cedar Ridge's goal came courtesy of Julian Ashton, who's now up to five this season.

Cedar Ridge now has a losing record of 9-10-2. As for Southern Wayne, their victory bumped their record up to 13-6-2.

As of now, neither Cedar Ridge nor the Saints have any future games scheduled.
