Softball Game Preview: West Brook Bruins vs. Port Arthur Memorial Titans

The West Brook Bruins will head out to face off against the Port Arthur Memorial Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

West Brook came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Sterling, falling 9-2. The loss continues a trend for the Bruins in their meetings with the Rangers: they've now lost four in a row.

West Brook saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kennadie Keys (2027), who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Port Arthur Memorial's offense. They lost 15-0 to Nederland on Tuesday. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Port Arthur Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for West Brook, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
