If Gorham was riding high fresh off their 17-1 takedown of Moultonborough Academy on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Huskies fell just short of the Woodsville Engineers by a score of 6-4 on Wednesday. The Huskies' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Isaac Langlois made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last eight games he's played.

Gorham's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Woodsville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-5.

Coincidentally, Gorham and Woodsville will both be playing Colebrook Academy the next time they take the field. The Engineers will head out to face the Mohawks at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Huskies will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
