Top two ranked teams from the Volunteer State lose in an exciting week on the gridiron.

Each of the top two ranked teams fall this week as No. 10 Ensworth took down No. 1 McCallie 33-23 and No. 17 Memphis University upset No. 2 Briarcrest Christian 22-16.
In a top 5 showdown that may determine a new No. 1 in the state, No. 3 Baylor defeated No. 4 Brentwood Academy 28-17.
Other ranked matchups included No. 9 Montgomery Bell Academy defeating No. 22 Christian Brothers 10-7, No. 11 Powell taking down No. 21 South-Doyle 15-12 and No. 18 Alcoa knocking off No. 14 Dobyns-Bennett 21-6.
