Baseball Recap: Northridge Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Northridge had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They had just enough and edged out the Danville Blue Devils 5-3. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Collin Matheson was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Noah Mason, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northridge will face off against Northmor at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Danville, they will square off against Newark Catholic at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
